The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA) is now law. It is anticipated that as this new law is implemented into our system, certain challenges may be taken with respect to the new law. It is my intent to provide with up to date information regarding any decisions rendered with regard to BAPCPA.  I will also keep you abreast of any legislation that may be introduced to the United States Congress regarding BAPCPA.  Addtionally, I will also keep you up to date on any changes that may take place with regad to the exemption statutes.  I’ll tell you about the pending legislation and how to contact your elected representative should you desire to.

Second, if you are uncertain whether bankruptcy may be for you or have a specific question that you need answered, please send me an e-mail or give me a call.  Even though there have been numerous changes made to the United States Bankruptcy Code, I will still be able to provide a review your case at no charge, however in order to provide you with answers to your questions, certain information will be required for appointments. Click here to find the list of documents that will be required.  It is not impossible for me to offer legal advice either through a phone call or e-mail, but because of certain language in BAPCAP, I may have to provide it in person.
